While I'm here...
Just noticed this morning on my recently purchaced second hand 1200....at the bottom of the secondary final drive cover there is a nut missing from a half inch threaded stud....where does that stud go?...what does it do?.....should i be worried?.....what thread is it(unc?)........so many questions!
Just to add...the bike has rear sets on it....is thestud something to do with a modification?

Year 2000,model 1200S......In the U.K we call rear sets a modification to the foot pegs using linkages to the brake and gear levers.
Hhhmmmm?.......my bike has a two into one exhaust,after looking at some pics of peoples bikes on here,i wonder if its a fixing for two mufflars?
