Good set up. I am the same height as you and got a 14 XL1200T. It is a great bike for comfortable touring. I have done a couple of 2K trips to Sturgis and one 4K trip to Vegas and Laughlin.
The seat is a Sundowner but only because I swapped it from the trade in to the T.
It is nice not to manhandle a 900 lb bike around all the time.
I am new to the sportster community, but not new to Harley's. My old bones were getting tired of backing up a 900 lb roadglide so I wa ted to get a lighter model and equip it for touring. Did some research and settled on the 1200 custom. After being treated badly at one dealership for wanting to trade for a sportster, I went to another and bought a 2016 1200C.
I am 6'2" tall, with a 34" inseam. First up was to get a Corbin dual tour seat for my sporty. Moved me up 1" and back about 1 to 2 inches. Next was to put extended forward controls, and a tall boy handlebar on the bike. I then took the attachment hardware for the hd compact windshield to a company in st Augustine FL. They made a custom windshield using my hardware that fit me
(Taller, wider, and extended lower than the original windshield. I had taken the bike and hardware to them, dropped it off, gave them my requirements, and picked up new windshield 3 hours later. Great job $199.00)
Installed hd locking saddlebags (same ones on a 1200T), and had my my gps that was originally on my roadglide installed.
Very impressed with the sporty. It now fits me, runs great at insterstate speeds and I am getting 47 mpg. Easy to back up, even uphill. Should have done this a few years ago.
Finally figured out how to upload the photos of bike

Might I ask who this company is? I'm close to St. Augustine and looking for a shield for my new 1200C.
