Be careful with all that tape and sealant, those threads are extremely fragile! They are actually tapered threads, so don't crack the engine case tightening too much. I've seen several photos of that result, not good.
Those sender holes were commonly stripped out on old VW engines due to overtightening.

A great video, but I want to update since I ran into a problem when changing the oil pressure switch on my 2003 Sportster, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had the difficulty I encountered. The new switch was not exactly the same as the old one, and it would not fit, no matter how many times I tried threading it in. My soulution, remove the small silver washer and the dust cap from the new switch, this will give you clearance to then screw the other end of the switch into the oil filter housing. Once in place, fit the dust cap back on the other end. No need for the washer, since the plastic elbow boot holding the electrical connection will hold the dust cap in place. Hope this helps someone, and saves the the time I lost trying to figure this out!
