They look great! I ran them for awhile. Im 6'1 and after about 2 hours of riding my lower back would start hurting. Ive talked to a few guys who have had the same problem. So my theory, the shorter you are the better they'll be on your back!

5'7" and my back still didnt like them on long rides but they looked great and the made the ride more fun. So if youre in for the long haul Id pass, if its a city bike or something I'd recommend them. I think everyone should try drag bars at some point in their life.

I had them on my iron 883. They were fine for short runs back and forth to work. I wouldn't want to go on too many long rides with them. I switch to the bultwell trackers which give you a few inches of rise but the pull back is about the same as drag bars. still has that drag bar feel but you don't lean forward as much.

I've had mine on for years and still love them. Almost all my riding is on the highway and at 70 miles an hour the wind on my chest pushes me back enough that there is no weight on my hands, just kinda float there. I normally ride with my feet on the passenger pegs and have put in lots of 500 mile days comfortably.

I put HD Drags on my Forty Eight about a month after I got it. It is a much more aggressive riding position in that with the fwd controls your body is in a pretty much exposed "C" position. This makes you more vulnerable to hard smacks on your *** and jarring on the back when riding on not so good road conditions.

That said... I love the look and the position. I don't ride for more than 45min to an hour when I commute, so posture is not an issue.

For me, the first thing that fatigues is not my back, but my neck. Although the wind does help with the weight of the helmet leaning forward, over time it is a fwd head leaning position.

I say go for it... it's an easy enough swap if you decide it's not for you. For me, I'm keeping my drags.

If your drag bars are too low for comfort, you can always increase your riser height.

Thank you guys for sharing your experience with the dragbars, as some of you mentioned it looks like it is an easy swap and for me this is a huge upgrade on the bike looks so I'm going to proceed and order them. It might take a while but I'll upload some pictures as soon as I make the swap on my bike. Ride safe guys.
