He said that before I purchased the bike from him, he had the rear tire replaced, oil changed, and some other things, and they all checked out. I'm still not sure how you have extend warranty. that would be a 6 year extension on a new 09. the original warranty is what 2 years i think?
not to knock on dealers but it does seem like they try to get out of honoring warrenty claims. especially if the bike has mods. NOT ALL DEALERS. but mine is one and i have read about others

I have the HD extended warranty and it is NOT transferable. you may want to look into that unless you know something I dont. I wouldnt take the PO's word for it
