If you have the cast disc rear wheel, that was introduced on your model year, however the rear wheel from other models will fit, as cvaria indicates, possibly back to 2000. Note that wheel bearings went metric in 2008, so earlier wheels will require replacement bearings for a direct fit (for several years H-D used 3/4", 1" and 25mm bearings all of which will swap).
