Not a biggie. The brace has a bend in it, need to straighten that out and fit fender back to bike, mark and drill holes. I used a piece of 1/4" rubber hose about 30" long as a spacer and taped it to the center of the tire for spacing. Clamped the braces to the forks and drilled the holes. I also cut off about 3/4" of the braces. Dropped the fender about 1".
Looks good to me.I meant to tell you I saw a soft tail with an American flag paint job on the way home from work one day.It still wasn't as nice as your bike but I do like that theme.
Looks good. I may give your mod a shot if I ever put my front fender back on.
Got caught in a pretty good rain shower last weekend. First time for me. The spray from the front tire was rather soothiing after having those rain drops beat the he** out of my face...
LOL
Thanks y'all
and d666, there is an Ultra here in town that is painted similar to my Scoot, the Dude who owns it, has an artificial arm, it too is red white and blue! Another Dude rides a Rebel 250 painted exactly like the Capt. America Bike Peter Fonda rode in Easy Rider. There are several similar paint schemes liek mine around here.
