Default Pull back riser 1200T

hey Folks,
The wife picked up a 14 1200T and has issues getting comfortable with the stock bars.
She is short and has to reach for the bars since she swapped to a Mustang seat,
so she nags me quite a bit every time we go out to fix them so I need some help

Anyone added pull back risers on the 1200T and if so what was the max rise without swapping cables.

I did do a search but cannot find much info.

Appreciated

Colin

Judging by your picture, I would think you could do a 6". It looks like you have enough slack on the wires, if you need more re-route the wires behind the forks instead of going through the headlight area. If you need more brake-line length you can remove the fastener holding the wire under the middle of your fork.

Thanxs for the reply Dheez,

Your right, there is a good bit of slack.
I was hoping someone would chine in that has added bars or pull back risers using stock cables on the 1200T.

Why don't you remove the top clamp and just see how much slack you have on the cables? It's not the most exact procedure but you'll have a decent ball park idea of how much of a rise you can add.

The brake hose is going to be the most limiting factor.

What do you have for risers on that? I'm looking to get rid of my 1200C stock 4" pull back for a 1" riser so I can put 14" Burly narrow glides on. Perhaps we could swap setups? I think it would be just what you're looking for.

That might work, if your into the swap.

The upper triple tree on her bike looks like a 1" riser, picture attached

Yeah that looks to be like the 1200L setup. Not crazy about the speedo in front of the bars but it is what it is. Your speedo will be behind the bars now. Nicer look.
We would have to swap the warning lamp bezel/wiring harness as well. Mine is just a tad shorter and only fits in this top plate. It's just plug and play so. This one just snaps in. Yours screws in from under.
