Clutch

I have a 1994 Sportster with a clutch that is very hard to pull. I was told that it is easy to adjust so it is easier to pull back when changing gears. Does anyone know how to adjust? Thanks.

I have a 94, check back tomorrow and I'll post what the factory manual says.
I can't remember off of the top of my head.

the adjustments won't make it easier to pull, you need an easypull clutch kit if you want it to pull with less effort. The adjustments will only adjust the range of the lever pull in which the clutch starts to pull, but won't make the force any less for pulling it. I have a 94 also and i'm fine with my clutch as is........I've only gotten sore from it once, when I had to do an hour of stop and go traffic durring a freeway construction project.

'04 started the reduced effort clutch. Not sure if they make something for the older bikes. Get yourself a Gripmaster. It really works out the hand well.
