Updated - How To: Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's)
P0562 is "Low Voltage"
Check Engine and Battery lights together usually indicate the same thing.
Typically occurs when the charging system isn't working and the battery voltage drops to around 11.5 volts.

Was the battery load tested?
Battery voltage is measured by the ECM on pin #72.
P0562 is set when battery voltage is less than
12.2V at idle and voltage does not increase when engine
speed is over than 2000 rpm.
Low voltage generally indicates a loose wire, corroded connections,
battery and/or a charging system problem.
I would check and clean the fuse box, relays, the Battery power and ground connections and the battery cables for internal corrosion. Make sure all the grounds are clean and tight, there is one behind the engine around the swing arm.
