Thanks for the replys. I kind of figure I will want in the neighborhood of 22" to as much as 24" on the height. I stumbled across another replacement shield maker that seems pretty reasonable http://www.7jurock.com/store/index.p...&productId=235.

Maybe that link worked. They start at $90 for a 14" x 20" and add about $5 an inch as you get bigger.

I'll have to do a bit more figuring on it before pulling the trigger plus maybe wait on payday too. It is about 38 degrees here today with snow flurries so a shield isn't going to help much in that.

Another clearview user here, I'm really liking mine. The recurve lowers the wind blast a lot, and the vent is great. Putting around town, open vent, on the highway, close it.

Thanks Souzafone. Clearview would probably be my best bet since they do offer custom sizing. What height and width did you go with?

Sometime when your not busy a pic of two would be helpful. I would like to see where the vents are located. Do you have the HD detachable mounts?

I do want to add a windshield bag in the future as well. Thanks

The company that made my windshield custom made it to the size I wanted. That is what they do. They do only custom work. You can get any size you want

Ordered a Clearview Shield on black Friday to replace the stock plexi, and received it Monday of this week. At 6'1" my helmet was well above the stock shield and had horrible helmet buffeting. So I had modified the mounts to give it a more raked back approach. Helped greatly with the buffeting but was never really pleased with it overall. Installed the shield Monday night (back to standard positioning) knowing Tuesday would be a perfect day to test it out: 36 deg on the way into work and 72 on the way home. Happy to report no buffeting even at 85mph and takes the chill off in the AM. The shield is 23" tall with the recurve and 4" over stock on the width and of course the 5 position vent. And with the QD mount it takes about 20 seconds if I want to ride with no shield.
