How much did the bars cost, and the labor, were they HD or not, any extra fatigue drag bars have over stock ones? Im thinking this will be the next upgrade, if you have any other suggestions on which bars you think should go on my sporty feel free to add em... Not like I could stop you even if I wanted to. Im not mechanically gifted so i'd rather the dealer do them....thanks for all the input...
I just put a set on my Roadster yesterday, big concerns over them hitting the tank or relocating the front signals was for nothing, everything clears fine with the stock riser.
Part # 55485 (not harley part) $37.80, 32" wide with no rise at all.
As to the "feel" it seems great but just as I was finishing up a big storm came up so I haven't been able to road test yet, maybe tonight when I get home from work I can take it for a scoot to see.
No problem switching them, took about three hours & four beers.
It does look great, really adds a dirt track racer look to it.
I bought mine from harley they were like 45.00 they are 27" I believe.I love them it took a little while to get used to but now they are fine.Changes the whole look of the bike.
