First bike owned.. 2012 Sportster 48. Added a Roland Sands intake and had no issues with trouble codes on the FP3. Then I put on the Side Shots and started getting this code (see pic). I am not knowledgeable about mechanics and hope I can get a simple fix here with out having to take it in to the shop. Bike seems to run fine even with the error.
If the bike runs the P0374 code is not currently present.
I would clear it check after a few rides, it probably will not come back.
If it does I would check the connector/wiring at the TMAP sensor, maybe it was
moved or damaged during the intake install.
The Sportster electrical service manual says the Engine must be cranked for more than five seconds without CKP signal to set P0374 code. Engine will not start if signal is not detected or cannot be synchronized.
