Speedometer Bezel Replacement
Hi
can anyone advise if there is a replacement top rim or bezel for the single 4" black speedo that has become damaged on my 883R. I had a ham-fisted mechanic damage mine recently with a wrench when he tried to adjust headlight aim by thinking he should slacken off the headlight cover screws rather than use the bolt which he failed to figure. Absolute Dick, but when I noticed the damage a day later they denied it.
Anyway, I've checked parts lists on line and it seems the bezel is not available and the entire speedometer has to be purchased. If this is the case, I'll have to wait for dear old Santa Claus and ask him to consider one of the delightful looking multi-colored combined taco jobs in the HD Catalogue.
Maybe someone on the Forum has had this issue and has a solution.
