And no, I didn't post to the CVO forum. They're a bunch of snobs over there... JK!
You really don't want FXDX slider unless you have all the other FXDX internal parts (well, unless it's from a exactly a 99 fxdx because they are just normal sliders and weren't adjustable) ... You just want a 1999-earlier (earlier to a point) 39mm Right slider with Caliper mounts... most likely will come from a Dyna or FXR. Can come from a Sportster, but right now I can't think of any 99-earlier (to a point) Sportsters with dual disc that weren't The "S" model adjustables. I might be forgetting though, have to look later

EDIT: Looks like those Right Sliders are Not Available NEW anymore either...You'll be looking for USED and it's part# 45922-87 (if needed)

Ahh, I forgot about the adjustables on the FXDX. Ok, Back to the drawing board. FXR lowers I guess.

Look at my last post again...I did some editing.

And don't get caught up in "FXR" (you would probably end up paying more) ...Dyna uses the same ones

45923-87 is a run-of -the-mill Right slider with NO Caliper Mounts...just like you have already

Exactly...the illustrations are helpful, but don't bank on them being accurate in every case. I find a lot of errors, but typically doesn't effect me...

Here's one... Dyna 49mm slider...several problems with that one...but the glaring one for anyone should be the Two fender mounts on a single slider

Yeah, this is going to be fun. I can't find a reasonable 45922-87 anywhere. There's a pair on eBay for $675, but no way am I paying that. I'll just keep looking...

Yeah, that was probably Elvis...he wants a lot for his stuff

Your best bet is to keep looking like you said, but know which are the correct ones just by looking because most (especially the cheaper ones) won't be listed by # and also not by "Complete" fitment if included at all...

If you find any that are questionable, send me some info/photos...I should be able to identify them
