Twin Trikes
After I added a Voyager trike conversion kit to my 2006 1200L my baby sister decided that she was tired of riding as a passenger with my brother-in-law. We found a 2004 883 with the trike kit on E Bay a few weeks ago so she bought it. We went for our first ride together this past weekend. Although her bike is 2 years older and is a 883 the two bikes almost look like twins.

Has your sister actually ridden a bike before? How is she picking it up. I ask because I just bought my first ever bike, and it's an HD Sportster 1200C, 2007, Vivid Black. I chromed it out, put Kuryakyn "Widow" pegs and grips on her, she's beautiful. But I can't friggin' drive the thing! the 1st time out, I did fine, scared of all that power, but drove it around the high school lot just fine. This Saturday, I went to drive out of my driveway, have no idea what happened, I couldn't let go of the throttle, couldn't think about all of the foot brakes and shifters and letting go of the throttle and bam...wound up over the curb, though the yard and laid it down in the middle of the road!! I was SOOO embarassed!! had to have 3 stitches in my arm!!!
Will I ever get the hange of this??? Am taking a class at the local college that should help..the shifting I can do...it's the starting I'm afraid of....
