Default Extended throttle cables problem

Installed extended throttle/idle cables with a set of 12" apes and while all went as flawless as it could have, I noticed yesterday on the turnpike that once in fifth gear if I try and go full throttle my RPM's raise but the bike wont go past 60/65 mph.
Any suggestions on what I may have missed?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your clutch may be slipping

Is it possible I may need to readjust the clutch cable again? Clutch feels fine and it only seems to do this when I'm in 5th gear, im thinking I may need to readjust the the clutch adjustment screw under the spring under the derby cover.

Does your throttle butterfly open fully? Have you taken the air cleaner off to verify?

How to adjust the cables on an EFI Sportster- (Not sure if you have a EFI or carb)

You haven't supplied the Year and Mileage on the bike.
It definitely sounds like the clutch is slipping (5th gear issue), but we need more info.

Readjusted throttle/idle cables and also readjusted clutch as per manual.
Took it out for a ride... FLAWLESS.
Incredible how great it rides now, smooth shifting, no slipping.
Thanks for the guidance dudes.
