Adjusting shocks....got tips?

Channel locks work fine for changing the preload with a rag to protect the chrome.Turning that adjustment will not change the shock length only the spring preload.

i picked up a spanner wrench at the stealer for 13 bucks..its a very handy tool..i even found it useful for removing the oil filter since i never bought the proper wrench for that..

I used a bicycle wrench on the shocksworks great and the oil filter wrench is $ 3.00 at wal-mart
