Funny you should ask today! We just picked up the bike from the shop yesterday with the new bar/riser setup. I plan on doing a full write up with photos soon. But the link below is the simple solution I came up with and it seems rock solid. We got longer riser bolts (grade 8 from Ace Hardware), then placed these spacer bushings narrow side down under the risers, which clears the lip on the top tree. Since the top tree is a solid metal sleeve, you don't need to worry about a flexible rubber/poly bushing like dynas and other bikes. Even with 8" risers, the bars feel rock solid. I should have a full write-up with parts and pictures by this weekend. Pic of the bike below as of yesterday, still more to do with turn signals and probably a fairing, but riding position is awesome now.

You are both a genius and a lifesaver. I’ve been busting my brains over this for 3 months. Can’t wait for your write-up and pics. Please could you zoom in on the junction with the triple tree in one of your shots? If you’d used a pullback riser, would it have cleared the tank? Cheers. Mark (Sydney, Oz)

Thought your background looked familiar, I'm from AZ myself (Glendale)....lots of memories and I miss it. Visit my brother-in-law in Peoria couple times a year...
post a link to your mod thread, I want to raise my bars up an inch or so myself....Cheers

Thanks for the picture of the triple tree man, been looking everywhere for a shot just like that... Bike looks sick!

I'm in the same boat with a '19 Roadster... Love the bike but the stock bars are wrist-killers, want to put on Biltwell H2 bars or a Murdock riser. Have a couple of questions if you don't mind:

Which riser did you end up using? Do you think any of the risers you've seen on the market have skinny enough feet to fit flush in the insets?

Obviously the HCP or thrashin supply ones are probably on the bigger side, I thought the biltwell T-bars/risers look skinnier with steel construction.

Little confused on how you used that spacer... Did you use it in addition to a solid or urethane bushing, or is that piece acting AS the bushing? Or are you saying that the roadster doesn't use a separate bushing at all?

I know another guy on here seemed to used grade 8 washers to fill the indentations... Do you think that's a solid option?

Sorry for the multiple questions man, just one of the few CXs I've seen with a proper riser!

PS. I also saw a thread where someone mentioned Rob from 1WR might be making a roadster-specific riser bushing... I reached out and it's unfortunately not so. He mentioned he ended up machining the top of his triple to fit a thicker riser.
