I and other Sportster owners have had trouble with the stock HD petcocks. They tend to screw up under heavy throttle load on occasion.

I like the look of the 1200 Low, but I was on bikez.com and the low didn't get all that great of a review. Most of it seemed to be reliabilty issues, which confuses me seeing how it is the same 1200 as in the roadster and custom. Does anyone else have a 1200 low?

You must be kiddn', if 1200L isn't reliable that means other 1200C and Roadster will have the same problem. What's the difference between 1200C, Roadster and 1200L beside cosmetic?

Check spark first, it could be a faulty coil, it cuts off at higher temperature.

I have a 1200low...it ran like crap when I first got it....it was in the shop 5 times in the first 2 weeks or so......but now that all the bugs have been worked out of it, it's fine.....I've put 15,500 miles on it in 13 months and it just keeps on tickin.
