Working on my sons project bike, 1987 Evo Sportster. Put in a new clutch and the pull on the lever is still really tough, but can be done. Problem is that the clutch seems to not have enough travel to disengage in order to put the transmission into neutral. This thing will give you arm pump at a red light. Someone today said that I should take out one of the friction plates to maybe help this situation. Any thoughts on this?
