2001 1200 Sportster stopped firing
I rode my Sportster about 10 miles this morning. It was running fine. I stopped, and got off for a few minutes. Got back on, and it turns won’t crank. It is NOT firing at all. Kill switch on handle bar is ok.

Yep! It had plenty of gas. Motor turned off normally. Really strange. It had no spark. I took the fuse box out, and checked all 4 fuses. No blown fuses. Put it all back together. Checked again .. and I had spark. It cranked right up. PUZZLED??

I'm not that familiar with the older generation but I think there was an ignition module that was prone to quiting when it got hot and would start working again when it cooled.
