In the euro webshops that I have searched in today, I also found more 21 and 22 tooth sprockets and in many more offset sizes.

23/48 is very close to 29/61 which is a 1200 stock belt drive. Check out pbi sprockets. That’s where I get my front and rear sprockets from.

Road6customs = meh

Might be an interesting compromise, right between the 883 and 1200 final gearing.

John

i ran a 22 for a week. Wasn’t for me, but I also don’t worry about running 4000-4500 on the interstate for hours at a time. I honestly feel the moco’s stock gearing is pretty good for 883 and 1200s. 21/51 pushes some rpms at 85-90 mph Hahahaha

Hi guys,

I have bought a rear sprocket 48 tooth and an chain, now I'm still looking for the front sprocket since there must be a offset but I do not now how much this will be. I read somewhere that a .900" will do for a 180/200 tire.... Is that so ?

Thanks for replying on my question.

Thanks for your answer, I think the .900 offset will do for a 200 tire then.

We have threads on doing 180 and 200 conversions, so look them up for details like offset sprockets etc. As for getting them in Europe, check out Zodiac who may have complete kits.

I just bought a (MCS) 22 tooth .750 offset front sprocket and it seems to lineup pretty good and I think I can even use the cover on the engine if I dremel / grind some material out of it.

It was $110,00 for that sprocket, that was more then I paid for the rear and chain together

Yikes!!!!!! grind the heck out of that cover then you should only have to shim it a little bit. I had to shim mine and I'm only running 520 chain.
