Anyhow I have bought some rear fenders and its a bitch putting them on.
So any help would be great i have unplugged them from the rear light but the plug will not fit through the hole in the fender
Does the plug come apart?
Soory can't say, on my 05 the plugs fit thru the hole provided, you may want to consider cutting and then resoldering the wires and most all plugs on Harleys can be dis-assemdled insome fashion.
If memory serves, I had to disassemble the plugs on my wife's Sporty when I put shorter signal mounts on it (it is an '07, though). The service manual has instructions for removing the pins from the plugs. If you don't have a service manual, I would suggest getting one.
