Almost did it!
I almost wrecked it today. I was cruising around town and got a little too relaxed. I turned left at a light and looked over to the side of the road and when I turned my head back around, the traffic had stopped for a car waiting to turn. I hit the brakes and the rear tire locked up. I put my foot down to gain my balance and realized I wasn't going to stop in time. I managed to drive between the stopped cars and the oncoming car without getting hit. Still not out of the woods, I realized the car that was waiting to turn, was now turning left in front of me. I turned down the same road as them and luckily there was no oncoming traffic. So I made it out in one piece, just a little shaky. Hopefully this will serve as a reminder to myself and everyone else to never get too comfortable out on the road, especially around town.

Glad you learned the lesson. Glad you skirted a potential crash ok. And glad you posted the reminder. Thank you. I'm usually constantly alert and read traffic pretty well, but sometimes...just for a couple of seconds...and that's all it takes. I'm definitely not immune to complacency.
