Buying 2003 Sportster 1200 custom

Just was wanting so input on picking up a 2003 1200 custom. I was hoping to see if anyone has As in you know how much of a known issues I should be looking for for that model year. I it only has 9000 miles should the be a concern. Any other advice would be appreciated

Depends upon how that 9,000 miles was put on the bike, if it was a few hundred a year and the bike was serviced annually kept in a garage it should be great. If it was rode 9,000 miles in 2003 and put under a tarp without and oil change it's going to be a mess.

Agree with Fishy. Also, keep in mind that '03 was the last model year before the rubber engine mounts were added. Be prepared for shake, rattle & roll.

To answer your question, approach this as if it was any other 2003 bike w 9k miles.. nothing idiosycratic. Theres a ton of info and google is your friend..
