Paughco Exhaust Issues
Hello Everyone,
I have a 2008 Sportster 1200 Custom, i purchased a paughco dual upsweep exhaust for my bike. I have had numerous emails and calls with V&H, I am having troubles with getting the bike tuned with these pipes. V&H has sent me numerous modified tunes to correct the issues i am having but have not had any luck getting it fixed. I cant afford to take it to the shop to have it tuned on the dyno. I also have a Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage 1 air cleaner on my bike. Every tune i have tried the bike runs like crap, it back fires all the time, the throttle bogs out when going down the road and you try to speed up. They are shooting blues flames. I have replaced the o2 sensor due to diag codes i had previous to installing the pipes. Has anyone had this issue before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anything that causes a change in AFR can cause it to run poorly, be sure your fuel, fuel lines, fuel filter and thottle body are clean and you have no intake or exhaust leaks. Are you using high grade fuel? Perhaps use some fuel injector cleaner.
