Default Spark plug Evaluation

My Plugs have just over 1000 miles on them. Can someone tell me if they are burning normal or otherwise. Color is kind of hard to see in the picture, there is some brownish-tanish and Gray.

U gotta let us know the the model year..Cos on the EFI bikes, the plugs are not easy to evaluate as the Carb models. Also on the efi bikes, the rear cylinder runs a tad rich than the front to keep things cool..so what cylinder is this plug from.

Having said that..plug looks fine, so what abt the other plug..there's two remember

1000 miles.
OEM plugs.
'14 EFI 72

Reading plugs is an art.
OP needs to show us the full ceramic.
Also what RPM did you "plug chop" for this reading.

But, this plug samples looks like all other 1000 mile EFI plugs.
Running lean, but good, noting OP states there is some grey/ tan color on the ceramics.
All I can really see is the center electrode edge remains sharp and looks clean.
I'd have no worries.

Two cent comment above.
Good luck.

They are fine. FI is very close to being perfect Stoichiometry 14.7-1 air to fuel. Just running interstate and poking around town will make them look slightly different. Reading plugs on a normal running FI engine is not required. 10K each on these. Bet one set would go 100K. You can tell the slightly different back plug but hurts nothing. You still have the oxygen sensors on the exhaust header?

Thanks for the responses, ceramics are pretty clean and yes i still have the O2 sensors in the exhausts. I'm running the V&H FP3 base map for short shots and big sucker ac. Would it be better if i did the Auto Tune or just keep running the base map?
