Oil pump?

Oil pump?
So, recently I noticed that my oil light flickers when accelerating, but not at idle. I replaced the sending unit, but it's still happening. Anyone have advice on this? It's an 04 XL883 with a 1250 basic hammer kit.
Check for shorts in the wiring?
Check for leaks in the oil hoses?
Could it be the pinion gear?

I'd suspect a short, since oil flow (and pressure) increases with RPM (acceleration). Perhaps some wire shaking is causing the light.
You might also check the filter mount stud and check ball/spring assembly. Changing both check ball and spring is a cheap possible fix if you want to try that. Usually a flicker at idle is caused by a weak spring.
