Front fork year difference
Found a set of front forks in my area that are from a 2004 sporty, will they fit on a 1994 sporty?
From what I can find online the brake mount is different. Can anyone confirm.

If your talking about just the fork tubes, I believe that as you stated you may have to change to a different caliper. If your talking the forks and the triple trees, I believe somewhere in there they changed the fork lock. It went from a tab for a padlock under the trees to a lock built into the neck. My wife's 03 Hugger has the tab and my 09 has the lock cylinder in the neck.
