Hii, I have been looking for a BCM replacement for a 2018 Harley-Davidson XL 1200X - Sportster Forty-Eight. Can get any help around here ? The model number i need,

Found this in another HD Forums post... Sounds reasonable.

The BCM (Body Control Module) is what provides power to all electrical components on the bike.. (Fuel pump, headlight,etc) it eliminates fuses and relays... it is a module that looks quite similar to the ECM.. and it is controlled by the ECM.. pretty smart idea to eliminate fuse and relay blocks.. the big issue is when it fails for one component... you have to replace it.

Thanks! Never heard of it. I thought he might mean the ECM, but BCM, what a concept.

My truck has a bcm but every circuit attached to it is still fused. Not sure who thinks it would eliminate fuses. You do not want a short getting to ANY computer module.

The bcm on the truck simply allows them to program the various functions of those circuits, ie timing of interior lights when opening doors and leaving them open, safety circuits to prevent overloads etc.
