My first bike was not a roadster. It was a 1952 FL in 1960. It looked like this.

It’s is a XL1200R and my multiple bike syndrome and obsession caused me to sell previous Roadsters. God the list of bikes in the last 7 yrs
im sick but I know I love Sportsters

It's not so much the fender height on Sportsters of that era ...HD used the same fender on bikes with 19" and 21" wheels so the radius isn't right for the 19" versions.
