Well i walked to my work, jumped on the bike and it started right away. Left it running about 30 seconds, turned it off and waited about 30 seconds. Hit the primer switch again that i had turned to off, tried starting it and it would turn over but not start. Maybe I didnt need to use the primer switch again? Complete newbie here.
A 2007 should be EFI so you turn on the ignition put the run / stop switch to run. Wait for the red key light to extinguish. Wait for the amber engine light to extinguish and then press the start button.

i feel pretty stupid now. That is the switch i was referring to. I thought the noise you hear when pressing this to run was the sound of gas being pushed.
