I see no problem with a description of things done, you dont have to read them. It also helps the what is this or that posts. Either way makes no difference to me.
Wrapped exhaust are one of the best looking things you can do imo really. I wanna do that one day to mine also.
Wraps can cause exhaust issues if you don't take care of it properly.
They discolour, the fabric frays, and they can cause your pipes to rust and possibly crack due to them retaining moisture. Id stick with the heat shields.
If you're dead set on doing it. Buy a quality brand and wrap from the bottom up.

Not to mention the microscopic needles that work their way into your skin on contact . This has to be the most pointless customisation fashion alongside tank lifts and fender removal .

Agreed. At least the tank lift has a practical point to it.
Sorry but, wrapped exhaust pipes look like somebody is trying to use duct tape to keep something together.
Not a fan so my bike doesn't have it.
If somebody wants to use it on their bike it's ok with me.
Different strokes as they say.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
PS. Tank lifts don't do it for me either. LOL
