Default Widest 21" front tire?

I am about to buy new tires for my bike and was wondering what is the widest sized tire I can put on my 21" front wheel (21x2.15)? It currently has a Dunlop MH90-21. Specifically, can a 120/70-21 fit? Thanks!

What is the width of the forks by the fender mounts?

I have seen 110 on a 19 inch wheel and it was very tight.

Your MH90-21 is similar to a 80/90x21 tire. The 120/70x21 would be a 40mm wider tire with a lower profile. Like what's been said, it's gonna be real tight between the forks, let alone the fender. May also cause some issues with your wheel.

Maybe a 90/90 (MJ90) or a 100/90 (MM90) could work.

If your front fork and fender are the same as the Low model then, FWIW, I was able to fit a 110 on my front. Anything bigger will rub the fender sides.

The bikes I have seen with 21" wheels are on the narrow glide front end with a 7" fork spacing. My Superlow is mid glide with 8.4" fork spacing. The tyre on my bike is a 120 profile.

I think the Low models all came with narrow front end.

There is more to it than fork and fender fit, tires are designed to mounted on a rim of the correct width range to match the tire size and profile...if you mount the tire on a rim that is too narrow or wide the profile won't be right which can lead to weird and maybe dangerous handling. A generic chart is below but it is best to double check the tire makers specs on acceptable rim size...
