Question Help 2015 Iron 883 Oxygen Sensor Replacement

Hello,

I have a 2015 Harley Davidson Iron 883, I need to replace the front oxygen sensor without removing the headers. I know its a really tight area and I would need a torque wrench but I can not find the socket size for it?

I tried to remove my old oxygen sensor with a 14mm wrench and it was tight and only grabbed the ends. I'm not that technical so if someone can help explain which tools I need that would be great.

I probably need an extension for my torque wrench and a special oxygen socket to bypass the wire.

Someone PLEASE HELP. So confused because research has said either 12mm or 18mm thread size for the bolt on the oxygen sensor. driving me crazy.

Edit:I read one from one website "14mm sockets and special wrenches for removing and installing late-style 12mm oxygen sensors used on ‘10-up Touring, ‘12-up FXD/FXST/V-RodŽ and ‘14-up XL"

I don't know why you need a torque wrench to remove the sensor. Torque wrenches are for tightening.
There are oxygen sensor sockets on the market for around $10. Some are offset and fit into the space easily. Just Google them.

Excuse my mistake, I meant socket wrench. Where I'm from in Canada there are oxygen sensor sockets but they are mostly 22mm for cars.

Use a grinder to cut a grove in the socket for the wire.

They come in various sizes. You can cut a groove in a socket but sometimes only a crows foot or offset wrench will work in the tight space.
