So, busted my a** all weekend trying to fix her up, still have a couple parts coming, but it's about 90% (gotta upload some pics taken after these later today).
Tonight I get my fender back from the machine shop and I'm chopping the rear fender struts off and relocating the mounts. It's gonna be slimmed down and rolled back to about the center of the rear tire.
It's gettin there though, got a new set of forward controls and a Sparto tail light coming. Then I'll be able to ride it, at least. The tank andpowder coating shouldcome sometime over the next two months.
Definately, I plan on having an entire album from before, during and after. I'll have some more pics later on this afternoon. As of last night we got everything wired up, put the headlight on, assembled the entire handlebar set up, and went over some ideas and made a decision on the rear fender. I can't wait to scrap those fender struts and chop that bad boy up. It's slowly starting to look mean as all hell, lol.
If you were in AZ I'd definately hook you up! Some good friends of mine build customs for Proper Chopper, Hard Knocks (VERY small builder but VERY nice bikes!)and Suckerpunch Sally out here, so gettin help and cheap quality parts is a little easier for my broke ***, lol.
Everything on her right now doesn't even total 600.00 so far. After the forwards and the fender work I'm up to just under 700.00 and a 30 pack for all the parts and labor, lol.
