I’ve not had these Slammers on for a week and today noticed surface oxidation on the (visible) spacers. This bike has not been wet. Anyone else notice this? WTH?
IDK. I live on the beach in SoCal. Rust/corrosion has been a constant battle on my bike for almost 30 years. I replace any non-critical bolts I can with stainless steel and tastefully paint whatever else I can (fork sliders. mounts, small parts, etc.). The rest of the corrosion (cam case, rocker covers) I just call "patina" and gave up.
Good luck. When I see photos of bikes posted from the "flyover" states, I am so jealous. No rust or corrosion on them at all, while my bike takes a literal beating from the salt air.

Hi, I’ve not contacted them yet. And I’m not sure of the material- it is black in color. I’ll probably just replace them with stainless. I’m just a bit disappointed. Only a week old
