There are literally hundreds of designs on the market ranging from the cool to the ridiculous with everything in between including the sinister and the obscene . How could anyone possibly make a choice on your behalf ? I've got one that says Harley Davidson that came free with the bike .

Most call it a timer cover. Points have not been around for a long time under there but that is what still works. Ebay is full of them. Mine came from there. A bootleg SE . $10 good for 50 HP.. Best deal I ever made on a Harley... Seen the dealer charge $2. for a o-ring.

Bear in mind that they are used on big twins as well as Sporties, however with a twist - literally. Sporties use two fixing screws on the horizontal, while the big twins use two screws on the vertical. You can see that in your photo, so select a cover with the screws in the right place. Doesn't matter if you choose a plain cover, but if you choose a design that needs to be oriented correctly.....
