Im looking for a speedometer for a 1998 1200 custom sportster. Local dealer can't locate one. Used would be fine if someone knows where a guy could find one.

 

Post here under Harley Davidson Classified-Want to Buy Motorcycles/Parts/Accessories. You can also search on the internet for New Old Stock or used speedo.

 

Not sure if that is an electronic speedo or not, but if it is a used one is "married" to the ECM and won't work. I know this is the case on later models. Might be worth checking before buying one. I know on a 2005 it is like that, and you can't take a used one and install on a different bike.

I have one that came off a 2001 Sportster if that will work.

2001 Sportster 883 Sport. Do not know the mileage.
