Before you mate that FP3 to your bike make sure you contact V&H to make sure they have the tune you need to support the mod you made to your bike. It operates off of canned tunes and their canned tunes may not include a 1200 upgrade to an 883. They very well may but you won't know unless you ask them. If you mate it to the bike and they don't have the tune you need you're kind of stuck with a paperweight unless you pay for it to be reset so you can sell it on to someone else. If they don't have what you need contact one of the tuner vendors on the forum and they can tell you which one you need and what you need to make it work. Just my two cents.

Found the V&H fp3 app, looked through the settings and they do have a map for exactly what im running so hopefully all goes as planned when it shows up. Thank you for the heads up

yes a tuner will solve all that. just flash a 12xx calibration on the ECU and it will come to life. just make sure that you bought the right FP3 (4-pin, older ECU, J1850) for your 2007. Calibration version will be 176 in your bike.

Default Up and running great

I have finally gotten the download done and the sport 883 - 1200 upgrade went great. Fired up no idle issues ran smooth down the road. Now the break in phase starts. But if you are using the fp3 fuel pack you will have to call V&H and have them send you a map for your tune. You upload yours and they will modify it to your tune and send you a new download.
