Which is fine but now you ask yourself which cable and which adaptor actually works? Which ones are worth having and which ones did the developer use or test?

Why do I now have to contact them to find out all the information? Why couldn't they just simply put it here on this web page?

The links I posted should answer your questions.

The ODB adaptors are many and they have tested several for both Android and iOS application. A buddy has the RPMitUp on his '15 48. He did a speedo relo and uses the app on the bars. The app has been working great for him the 2 years he's had it.

My state government is very keen on my keeping such things as the speedometer and odometer as permanent fixtures of the bike. I'm keen on not having to do a lot of explaining when I'm filling out the odometer statement on the back of the title to the bike I'm selling. Thus between the two of us we've agreed that I'll keep those things and the rest I don't really need.

I've known people who are into tech for the sake of having tech and have dived into all the functions of the tuners, but none of them stayed with it as part of their regular riding.

One guy on another forum devoted to the Street family of bikes went so far as to do a simulated dyno run. As he put it:
"The computer in the Street bikes is capable of calculating the horsepower and torque being generated at any given moment, under any given load. And, the Fuelpak FP3 and the RPMitUp app both have the ability to report those numbers. They don't graph 'em like a dyno would, but they report them. So I thought... eh, why not just install a screen capture program on my phone and do my own "dyno runs" and graph it myself?"
He noted that even Vance & Hines says the numbers are approximations, but they are consistent. It might not be possible to say that a changing to a Big Sucker gave his bike 7.3 more HP but it was probably good enough to determine the Big Sucker was an increase over the stock intake.
