There are a bunch of videos online that show the carb, its functions and its adjustments. Some are better than others. I was afraid to mess with my carb until I saw them. After watching several and taking the best info from each, I was able to make some adjustments and replace some jets. The good news is, each change is not permanent so if you make a bad adjustment, you can undo it and try again. This will save you a ton of labor charges and the parts are not expensive. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Watch some videos, take notes, get the parts and the tools and try it. I call it "man therapy" for the "man cave".
Mostly labor cost, parts are reasonable if needed. Another thing to look at is the filter screen on the petcock, it gets clogged or has an opening letting rust particles into the fuel system --> to the carb and clogging the jets.
Do not know what the labor rates are where you live. You should talk to a mechanic and ask him/her how much to clean the fuel tank, change out the filter screen and clean the carb. Of if you have riding friends, some beer & pizza might suffice for the labor cost if they are able to help you out. Best regards.

Maybe run a can of fuel system cleaner thru before you send it off for repairs? Here in the states, something like Seafoam would possibly do the job. Then if it didn't, time to pull the carb and rebuild it.

Thinking along those same lines, why not go to an auto-parts store (assuming you have those in CH),
and look for an areosol can of "Carburetor Cleaner". Remove air cleaner & spray the carb - following
the directions of course... It'd be cheap to try anyway....
