OP: there is nothing wrong with an OEM battery, they are a bit expensive but they are an exact fit.
When removing and installing a battery (especially on a Sportster), it is important to follow the process outlined in the service manual.
Forget about the you tube videos showing how to do this, the internet is full of guys showing how to install a Sportster battery the wrong way.

I was told by retired GM engineers who were teaching the mechanic school I was going to in the 60s, it was an old wives tale. Good enough for me. But even back then if a battery developed a leak or bad place in the case and there was moisture or something wet on the floor there could be a reaction that could make the battery to dis charge. But dry floor no leaks in the battery case it just didn't happen. The old batteries didn't hold a charge for very long any way and when left in concrete for very long would run down and it had to be blamed on something. And being born in 1944. I have seen many tar top batteries. Had them made when I used to restore British roadsters in the 80s and 90s.

Hi All,
Looks like I need a new battery after all, I charged it twice and it keeps on dropping after few days of cold weather. That's absolutely my first time, so what would you be suggesting? I've read some bad reviews on original HD batteries.
What would you think on any one of these?

If you're going to keep the bike a long time, this battery is the best. Its not cheap, I have one and the bike start MUCH faster, has built in jump technology and will not allow the battery to drain down below 11 volts.

It seems Amazon offers overseas shipment of lithium batteries by cargo ships. Slowly, but you can get it, if it's not urgent. Unfortunately, need of battery is very urgent thing mostly

I have found 3 places in the UK that has the antigravity battery for sale but at over Ł300 I will take my chances with an AGM one.
