1995, 1200 how do you install this part. i can't figure it out. you can't simply thread the long adjusting bolt thru the primary case due to not enough room in the case as this is one solid piece. on my old one the top shoe rotated freely allowing you to thread the long bolt thru the case while the shoe went up and down like it should if i loosened the top lock nut so that it rotates allowing me to be able to thread the long bolt thru the case all is fine except it being loose as the chain passes over it, if it is tightened after the long bolt is thru the case you can't turn the adjusting screw letting the shoe move up and down.
In the newer designs the nut is done away with so the plate and screw cannot be separated.
If the nut is not nyloc then it will need thoroughly cleaning and then the highest strength Loctite to ensure it stays in place done up as John suggests.
