Im going to do a lot of turnpike riding soon (after break in) plus many trips down to the florida keys (4+ hours or so). I want to get a detachable windshield for these longer & higher speed rides. Any suggestions as to which model windscreen might be best for my nightster? I want a quick release screen since I most often wont be riding with one. So I want something thats easy to put on and take off - and doesn't look like complete $hi7.
RE: which quick release windshield for my nightster?
understood - i figure it will look like crap on it... but i need something for the longer hauls. i have issues with my contacts drying up like crazy with the wind. and god forbid riding during love bug season... so if i can eliminate some of the wind / sand / and bugs that would be great. like i said it will only be used on the long distance trips. local short rides ill go screenless.

Try one of these Deflectors from NationalCycle. They have black hardware, are very stealthy and don't look as dorky as some others. They come off in seconds and run about $89.00.

National Cycle has a great selection. The Deflectors look good but I think the fly screen would look really good on the Nightster. They don't look like they provide much protection but I had one on a bike a couple of years ago and it helped break up the air so that it was easier riding onthe highway
