I pulled into a local dive bar last night, and was greeted by a tatted up fellow who said: "Nice custom." I of course responded by saying: "Thanks man, but it really isn't a custom.... It's a Harley Nightster." "Harley what?" .... he said. I of course explained the whole Sportster 1200 new model thing. He then smiled and said... "I build custom bikes... That ain't no factory model." I then gave him my business card and told him to come by the store... And left him with a very confused look on his face. I honestlybelieve he thought I was bs ing him... lmao [8D]

That is pretty cool. Most garage and shop custom guys don't pay much attention to what the factory is coming out with and funnier yet many including other Harley riders don't even know the different models half the time.

Actually it is a custom tank... as in the stock 4.5 gallon tank that comes on the 1200 custom
.All I did was remove thetank bib trim and add a small flush mount popup gas gap.
