Default Fender interchange

2002 are the 883 & 1200 front fenders the same? I have a 2002 XL1200C and found a nice fender in the correct color off a '02 883, its online so I cant compare side by side

Yes I believe so , the only difference is the engine , body is the same.

The fit may not be exact for different sub-models, one of them being the "C" aka the Custom. The C had a 21 inch wheel. I know some of the other sub-models could not run 21" wheels because of fender interference, so it may be different.

OTOH for many years of the Sportster HD used the same fender for bikes with a 19" or 21" wheel...so the fender radius looks a bit off on the 19" bikes. I'm not sure of the details on which years this applies to but it is the case on my 08 for sure.
Some research at Ronnies would probably answer this. http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.....asp?make=hdmc
