Fuel pump issue
I have a 2009 sportster xr1200 with a fuel pump issue. My fuel pump continues to prime when it should stop around 3 seconds once pressure is built. I have replaced the fuel pump and fuel line inside of the tank. I’ve replaced fuel pump relays/fuses. Nothing seems to fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

The only time I had the motor run continuously was when there was no petrol. I had the pump out of the tank.
The test is to put a pressure gauge in the fuel line from the tank to the injectors and see what you get. Testing is described in the FSM.
