Accidentally added Power steering fluid in oil tank
So how bad did I screw up?
I wasn't paying attention and grabbed my bottle of Lucas power steering fluid instead of my lucas oil to top off my oil.
I caught my mistake, but not before I added some to my oil tank (about 8oz or less). I did not start my engine. I just added the PS fluid to the tank.
How bad did I screw up? What should I do?

Do not start!
Drain and clean oil tank and hoses.
Just to be sure drain motor and install new oilfilter.
That's what I would do.
I know some Power steering oil is really oil, while some cars require special "oil" and it would not work inside a motor.
Do not know the specs of the fluid you filled.

I would drain it, use a qt or so to flush the tank before putting the plug back in, any residue will be minuscule and should burn off. But you could change the filter and oil again just to be extra safe.
I suspect he wanted to hear someone say just run it
If money issue could run some cheap convtional for a shorter time than regular.
Don't use any kind cleaner to spray down,in case it gets on bearing.

If so, he may want to just sell it, anyone not able to discern a bottle of transmission fluid from an oil bottle should not be out on a motorcycle. The bottles are not even the same packaging. A reason for that.
